Pedro and Linda Johnson have been involved
with horses for approximately 30 years, since they bought a pony for
their oldest child. In 1997, Linda’s lifelong dream was fulfilled
when she bred her first paint mare, KR Dream On, to a paint stallion,
producing their first foal the following year. One thing led to another,
and in 2001 the couple bought a 78 acre farm in North Windham, CT.
From that first back yard pony, they have progressed to raising World
Champions, with a current herd of seventeen horses, bred for both halter
and performance. Pedro’s Native American Heritage has taught
him to enjoy and respect one of the most beautiful animals placed on
Mother Earth. And Linda’s life-long love affair with horses has
provided the gentle, but firm, devotion required to build a successful
business. The farm now engages two full-time employees, including a
farm manager/trainer, as well as several part time employees. |
